Marching Band

The Helena High Marching Band is an ensemble of two hundred thirty three students consisting of musicians from the three concert bands and members of the three visual ensemble teams. The band performs at all varsity football games on Friday nights for both home and away games. Every year, in addition to football games, the band performs the Shelby County Band Showcase and competes at two marching band competitions where the band consistently receives superior ratings as well as best in class and best overall awards. Each year, this ensemble marches in the annual Helena Homecoming and Christmas parades. The band has also marched in the New York St. Patrick's Day parade both in 2018 and 2023.
